Heb 6:11-12 “And we are anxious that you keep right on loving others as long as life lasts, so that you will get your full reward. 12 Then, knowing what lies ahead for you, you won’t become bored with being a Christian nor become spiritually dull and indifferent, but you will be anxious to follow the example of those who receive all that God has promised them because of their strong faith and patience.”TLB

In fact the word boredom “the word did not even enter the English vocabulary until the Enlightenment of the 18th century, the beginning of the modern era.” Boredom is a combination of weariness, a lack of energy or interest, apathy and unconcern that causes a person to feel like doing nothing.

People that are bored Are not living for a purpose?, “life is best when designed around purpose.” Are you maximizing your potential by developing your gifts and talents? When you live on purpose you design your calendar to reflect your interests and your values.

For anyone that lives a boring life Your Answer is Find your Purpose you were made to be in God and DO IT.

Believe me there is so much work to be done, When you are doing the will of God in the center of His will there is no time for boredom you will live a life of purpose..

The bible says The harvest is plentiful the laborers are few.

Yet many people, including many Christians, are utterly bored with life. One survey reports that 54% of all Americans go to work primarily to escape the boredom of life at home. And 70% of American teenagers say they are bored with school. The survey also reported that 25% of teenagers said they got drunk on the weekend because they were so bored.

Boredom is a combination of weariness, a lack of energy or interest, apathy and unconcern that causes a person to feel like doing nothing.

Boredom can also be traced to…A lack of faith in God (“Boredom: the consciousness of a barren, meaningless existence.”

How do we deal with boredom? Well most people seek to do something “fun” or exciting. Until they get bored with that.

OMS. THE DANGER OF BOREDOM “Boredom has made more gamblers than greed, more drunkards than thirst, and perhaps as many suicides as despair.” “Boredom is often the motivation for adultery and divorcE abuse of alcohol or drugs, and even suicide.”

You have to learn to give your life to others in service? Are you mentoring someone? When is the last time you spent time in community service? or a ministry.

Boredom is A pre-occupation with self to the neglect of what is around us

Being too much of a spectator and too little of a participant in activities

When a Christian is “bored”…

He is not very active in his service to the Lord.

He is therefore not very useful to anyone.

Listen God has a plan for your life your Job is to find it and live it. You were made for a reason on purpose for a purpose God has the answer ASK HIM and then Do HIS WILL.
